Brookfield Town Hall to do business over the phone

Brookfield Town Hall has closed to the public but is able to assist residents over the phone and by email.

Town Hall’s hours have also been reduced to 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. so people should contact the appropriate departments during those hours by phone with any concerns or questions.

Each department’s phone number is posted on the town’s website. People should also continue to check the website for updated information.

This will be the practice until further notice, officials said.

The senior center has also canceled its programs, classes, events and lunch, but will remain open to answer seniors’ questions.

The library is also closed with staff available by phone between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
